Cookie Policy
The few cookies PracticeSpeaking uses: keeping you signed in, remembering your language, stopping bots and noting how you found us. No ad cookies.
Last updated: 2026-11-03
PracticeSpeaking uses only the cookies it needs to work, plus one first-party cookie that remembers how you first found us. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.
What we use
- Sign-in session: keeps you signed in after you log in.
- Language preference: remembers the language you picked.
- First visit (
ps_ft): the website you came from, any campaign tags in the link and the page you landed on, kept for 90 days. If you sign up, it is saved with your account so we can see which channels bring people here. It never leaves our site. - Bot protection: Cloudflare Turnstile may set a cookie or similar storage on sign-up, sign-in and contact forms to tell people from bots.
- Google sign-in: if you choose to sign in with Google, Google sets its own cookies on its pages.
- Checkout: when you buy a plan you go to Dodo Payments' checkout page, which sets its own cookies under its own policy.
- Browser storage: we also keep a few small settings (such as practice progress for the demo lesson) in your browser's local storage on your device. This is never sent to advertisers.
Managing cookies
Your browser lets you delete or block cookies. If you block the sign-in cookie you will not be able to stay signed in, and bot protection may stop forms from working.
Changes
If we change how we use cookies, we will update this page and the date above.
